Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Client management:

    Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with business clients, understand their financial needs, and provide tailored loan solutions.
  • Sales and business development:

    Prospect for new clients, generate leads through various channels (e.g., cold calls, referrals, field visits), and achieve sales targets.
  • Loan application processing:

    Guide clients through the application process, collect necessary documents (like bank statements, tax returns, and business proof), and ensure all information is accurate and complete.
  • Financial analysis:

    Evaluate creditworthiness by analyzing financial statements, credit history, and other relevant data to determine risk and eligibility.
  • Risk assessment and approval:

    Assess loan risks, recommend approval or rejection, and negotiate terms, rates, and collateral requirements based on financial status.
  • Compliance and documentation:

    Ensure all loan activities comply with internal policies and external banking regulations. Complete and process loan contracts and other required documentation.
  • Portfolio management:

    Monitor the performance of existing loans, ensure timely repayments, and proactively address any potential issues with the loan portfolio.
  • Market awareness:

    Stay informed about market trends, changes in the financial sector, and different loan products to effectively serve clients.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience:

    Proven experience in loan sales, relationship management, or a related financial field.
  • Analytical skills:

    Strong ability to analyze financial data, conduct credit analysis, and assess risk.
  • Communication:

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and effectively explain complex loan details.
  • Negotiation:

    Ability to negotiate loan terms with clients.
  • Customer service:

    A commitment to providing excellent customer service and building trust.
  • Sales acumen:

    Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Regulatory knowledge:
