Job Description

Role Overview -

We are looking for a Dedicated Relationship Manager to serve as upGrad’s primary representative at an Institute of Eminence based out of Sonipat. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role responsible for managing all day-to-day coordination, stakeholder engagement, and relationship governance between upGrad and the university.

The candidate will operate from or nearabout the university premises and work closely with college’s administrative team and internal upGrad stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of all academic and operational workflows. The role requires exceptional communication skills, strong crisis-handling abilities and a professional presence suitable for a university environment.


Key Responsibilities -

Stakeholder & Relationship Management -

· Serve as the single point of contact between upGrad and University for all operational, academic, and administrative matters.

· Build, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with university leadership and key stakeholders.

· Facilitate seamless communication and ensure alignment on all program deliverables, SLAs, action items, and timelines.


Operational Coordination -

· Oversee execution of all on-ground activities, academic processes, and student-related workflows as per upGrad standards.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Academics, Delivery, Operations, Sales, Legal) to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

· Track academic calendars, program related ops and escalate concerns proactively.


Crisis Management & Issue Resolution -

· Provide timely support, structured problem-solving, and clear communication to university stakeholders during any operational challenges.

· Maintain real-time updates to upGrad leadership and ensure quick closure of open items.

· Ensure compliance with academic requirements, MoUs, and university protocols.

· Assist University with clarifications, academic support, student queries, and coordination required from upGrad.



Qualifications & Experience -

· Background in academia, university partnerships, education management, or institutional relations.

· Experience managing stakeholders in higher education or related sectors.

· Strong command over communication (verbal & written), presentation, and relationship-building.

· Proven experience handling high-visibility roles and interacting with senior academic leaders.
