Relationship Manager - Agri Business

Role Overview:

The Relationship Manager Agri Business will be responsible for sourcing and generating business from the farming and rural community.

The role involves identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and ensuring portfolio health through effective monitoring and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development & Sourcing:

  Scope geographical markets for farming and rural communities.
• Source proposals from individual farmers, co-operative societies, rural mandis, Kisan clubs, and Farmer Producer Organizations.

• Customer Relationship Management:

• Liaise with new and existing customers to maintain and deepen relationships.
• Stay connected with agro centers, rural markets, and farmer networks.

• Portfolio Monitoring & Recovery:

• Ensure minimal delinquency through account rotation and recovery follow-ups.
• Support legal and remedial teams for necessary actions.
• Maintain housekeeping parameters under control.

• Market Intelligence & Compliance:

• Keep abreast of changing market dynamics, state government laws, and policies.
• Recommend amendments in product offerings based on market trends.

• Team Development:

• Train and develop Sales Officers (SO) and utilize sales resources effectively for optimal support.

Education & Experience:

• Essential:

  Graduate or Post Graduate

• Preferred:

  Graduate/Post Graduate with specialization in Agri Business or related fields

• Experience:

  2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Agri/Rural Banking

• Good Communication skills and able to understand local language.
• Knowledge of Competition & Current trends in financial Industry.
