Key Responsibilities : Monitor and analyze government policies and regulatory developments relevant to the renewable energy sector. Prepare comprehensive landed cost sheets for Open Access renewable projects. Conduct market and competitive intelligence gathering; track emerging trends and regulatory shifts. Identify new market opportunities based on evolving regulations and develop strategic approaches for entry across regions and industries. Maintain close coordination with State Renewable Energy Corporations (RECs), DISCOMs, QCA and Renewable regulatory authorities. Possess thorough knowledge of regulatory acts, Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) mandates, and DISCOM payment facilitation processes. Track ongoing changes in regulatory frameworks and support the Business Development team in shaping mid- and long-term strategies. Provide regulatory expertise to internal teams; engage with clients and regulatory bodies to develop optimal solutions aligned with organizational goals. Guide and advocate for the team on Open Access regulations, including procedures for Long-Term Open Access (LTOA) and Long-Term Access (LTA), power scheduling protocols, and forecasting requirements. Qualifications : Minimum 5 years of experience in the Renewable industry, preferably with leading power producers; hands-on liaising experience in at least one organization is essential. In-depth understanding of power sector regulations in India, with a strong focus on the renewable energy domain. Proven track record of managing the full project lifecycle—from concept development to operationalization—including all regulatory aspects. Educational background in MBA and/or professional qualifications in power management or related fields. Prior experience in the Open Access segment is mandatory. Strong analytical abilities and experience in managing teams effectively. Demonstrated leadership skills and willingness to travel as required. Why Join Us?
