Regulatory & Cybersecurity Senior Portfolio Management Officer

As a Regulatory & Cybersecurity Senior Portfolio Management Officer , you will play a key role in advising and supporting the strategic management of regulatory and cybersecurity project portfolios. You will work closely with project managers, compliance teams, IT, and executive stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment and sustainable governance structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on the structuring, prioritization, and management of regulatory and cybersecurity project portfolios
• Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements at national (e.g., VAIT) and European levels (e.g., DORA, NIS2, GDPR)
• Coordinate the portfolio of multiple complex projects with a budget of approximately 1m - €3m
• Coach project managers on the implementation of regulatory and cybersecurity requirements
• Conduct workshops, deep dives, and interviews for requirements gathering, solution development, and gap analysis
• Ensure the quality and consistency of project deliverables
• Prepare and steer management reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
• Facilitate alignment between business units, IT, compliance, and external partners
• Review budget planning and usage, identify deviations, and coordinate with controlling and finance departments
• Support the development and enhancement of governance structures to ensure long-term regulatory compliance

Your Profile

• 5 to 7 years of overall IT experience managing complex programs and project portfolios, stakeholder communication and reporting

• Must Have :

  Strong understanding of cybersecurity and IT risk topics (e.g., SIEM, ISMS, TPRM), Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools, Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and Power Bi
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., VAIT, DORA)
• Several years of experience managing complex programs and project portfolios
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

Good to Have

• Proven experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives and regulatory authorities
• PMP/Prince and Think Cell preferred
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools
• Experience in change management and transformation initiatives
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
