ERGO Technology & Services India (ET&S India) is the newest part of the ERGO Technology & Services Management the main outsourcing provider of IT for ERGO worldwide. It is backed up by ERGO an 18 Billion Euro Organization with presence in 15+ countries has a charter to provide technology services to the ERGO countries in multiple countries. ET&S India will be fueling the Digital aspirations of ERGO world in years to come. With ambitious plan to build a large offshore development centers in multiple cities of the country ETS India shall be at the forefront in developing capabilities and providing career opportunities to employees in diverse technologies across domains of Insurance. Key Competencies & Skills required Technical: Candidate should have 4 to 8 years experience in SAP FICO with SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Implementation Experience. Customizing of the Global-Template modules FI-GL (General Ledger); FI-AP/AR (Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable); FI-AA (Asset Accounting) and CO (Controlling) to provide the required functionality Maintenance of interface tables incl. mapping tables Support of service requests on a daily base (MTB - maintain the business) Support of minor change requests (STB - support the business) Participation in projects of various sizes (TTB transform the business, e.g. Global-Template rollouts) Incident management; analyse error situations and resolve them Manage the transport system (approval of transports, deployment of changes into the productive environment) Dispatching/Orchestrating of incoming requests via email or BMC Remedy ticket tool Support of quarterly close activities (e.g. maintenance of foreign currency customizing, preparation of tax reporting ) as well as yearend closing activities (e.g. fiscal year change, balance carry forward) Perform test activities within stack upgrades, ERGO Releases and projects Participation at regular conference calls (specially SAP support conference call) Technical: Technologies: SAP FI including FI-GL, AP/AR, FI-AA and CO Excel Knowledge Very good knowledge in written and spoken English Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to multi-task effectively Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency Testing experience Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly Main Interface with other roles: Requirements Engineer & Requirements Lead Business Analyst & Business Incident & Problem Manager Release & Change Manager Test Engineer & Test Manager Nice to have: Knowledge in BMC Remedy and SAP Test workbench Behavioral Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment in hybrid teams Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to changing requirements Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options Acts professionally and friendly in interaction and asks questions to better understand the business requirements and the needed adjustments of the SAP system Soft Skills: Good team worker within international teams with players from several countries Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Previous Experience & Qualifications Education/Qualification: A degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems or IT Consulting or equivalent or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience Knowledge & Experience: About 10years of experience within one of the mentioned SAP modules (FI-GL, FI-AP/AR, FI-AA and CO); good overview knowledge of SAP configurations in the FI environment Experience of working within multi-location teams. Experience within the ITIL processes Service Request Management, Change and Release Management and Incident Management
