Job Description

Job Summary The Registration Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all aspects of event registration for conferences, exhibitions, and corporate events. This role ensures a seamless registration process for attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors by overseeing registration systems, managing data accuracy, coordinating onsite registration, and delivering high-quality customer service. Key Responsibilities ·      Registration Management ·      Develop and manage the end-to-end registration process for events (online and onsite). ·      Configure and maintain event registration platforms/software. ·      Ensure accuracy of registration data, attendee categories, payment processing, and reporting. ·      Create and manage registration guidelines, FAQs, and customer communication. Onsite Operations ·      Oversee onsite registration counters, check-in areas, and badge printing. ·      Train and supervise temporary registration staff/volunteers during events. ·      Troubleshoot onsite issues to ensure smooth attendee flow. Data & Reporting ·      Generate and maintain registration reports (daily/weekly/monthly). ·      Monitor key registration metrics (conversion, attendance, cancellations). ·      Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards . Customer Support ·      Handle attendee inquiries via email, phone, and onsite support. ·      Provide quick resolution to registration/payment-related issues. ·      Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure VIP and speaker registrations are managed smoothly. Collaboration ·      Work closely with event operations, marketing, sponsorship. ·      Liaise with vendors for registration hardware/software needs. ·      Support finance team with payment reconciliation and invoicing.   Qualifications & Skills ·      Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field. ·      1–5 years of experience in event registration management (conferences, exhibitions, corporate events preferred). ·      Strong knowledge of event registration platforms (Cvent, Eventbrite, Aventri, etc.). ·      Excellent organizational and project management skills. ·      Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. ·      Ability to lead onsite teams and manage high-pressure situations. ·      Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and database management. Key Competencies ·      Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data handling. ·      Problem-solving mindset with quick decision-making ability. ·      Leadership skills for managing onsite registration teams. ·      Flexibility to travel and work extended hours during events.
