Job Description

As a Regional Sales Manager in the Food & Beverage sector at Solenis, your role will involve managing the day-to-day operations in India, specifically in the West region, with your geographic base being Mumbai. You will lead a team of 5-15 sales professionals and application specialists, and the role requires extensive travel, averaging 2 weeks a month. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: - Deliver the Annual Operating Plan for the designated region by driving top-line sales growth and ensuring bottom-line profitability targets are met through price increases and product mix optimization. - Achieve working capital targets by focusing on timely collection of accounts receivables, sales forecasting, and reduction of aged inventory. - Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by tracking customer feedback regularly. - Focus on sales and customer management processes to retain the business's leadership position in the market. - Lead and motivate the sales team to ensure the delivery of promises to customers and drive high performance. - Identify and develop high performers within the team while planning for career development and retention strategies. - Collaborate with internal teams to identify growth opportunities, drive innovation, and develop strategic initiatives for future growth. - Monitor and handle competitive moves in the market while supporting the Business Director in meeting company objectives. Qualifications Required: - A BE/B Tech degree in Engineering, Food Technology, or Dairy Technology. An MBA is desired but not essential. - 8-10 years of successful commercial experience in a B2B environment, with at least 2-3 years in a team leader position. - Experience in field sales and strong customer management skills at senior levels are essential. - Management qualification is desirable for effective business and team management.
