About the Role

Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

The RSM will be responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets, building and managing high-performing teams, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs, and implementing strategies to grow market share while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and motivate a team of

    Area Sales Managers (ASMs)

    and

    Territory Sales Managers (TSMs)

    .
  • Develop strategies to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the Pulmonary product portfolio in Kerala.
  • Forecast sales, plan budgets, analyze gaps, review performance, and take corrective actions.
  • Identify new business opportunities in line with overall business and marketing strategies.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs.
  • Plan and execute

    medical educational events

    (CME programs, workshops, seminars) for professional engagement.
  • Gather feedback from KOLs and accounts to enhance brand adoption and product positioning.
  • Ensure product availability through effective coordination with distributors, stockists, and retailers.
  • Oversee proper utilization of promotional materials in compliance with medical and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reports on sales performance, market share, ROI, customer insights, and prescription audits.
  • Prepare and present monthly/quarterly business reviews to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry code of conduct.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate in

    Science, Pharmacy, or related field

    (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 10–15 years of pharmaceutical sales experience

    , including

    3–5 years in a Regional Sales Manager role.

  • Proven expertise in

    Pulmonary therapeutic areas.

  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering sales growth and managing large teams.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Kerala.
