    Monday to Friday- 9am-6pm/ 9.30-6.30pm/ 10pm-7pm (Candidates can choose as per preference)

Saturday: 2nd & 4th- 10am- 2pm , 1st, 3rd & 5th- 1.5 hrs early leaving

Role Objective:

  • Drive the sales and marketing business of Surfactant & Specialty Chemicals for Home & Personal Care.
  • Develop sales & marketing Strategies & plan that add value to the achievement of company's goal & objective.
  • Prepare action plan for Individuals as well as for team for effective search of sales lead & prospects.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques.

Job Description:

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve sales targets and growth objectives in the assigned region.
  • Develop new business opportunities with manufacturers, distributors, and formulators using surfactants.
  • Conduct regular market visits to build strong relationships with customers and distributors.

Account & Territory Management

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts by providing technical and commercial support.
  • Identify emerging market trends and competitive activity to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines for the region.

Commercial Negotiations

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Provide insights on regional demand, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting surfactants.
  • Support product launches and marketing campaigns in the region.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with R&D/technical service teams to address customer formulation needs.
  • Coordinate with global sales managers to align regional growth strategies.

Required Candidate profile:

  • Bachelors degree in

    Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field

    (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years

    of experience in sales/business development within the

    chemicals or surfactants industry

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    surfactant applications

    (personal/home care, agrochemicals, oilfield, industrial).
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
