Job Description

Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Drive sales growth for Microsoft Cloud products (M365, MWP, Azure) through strategic planning, partner engagement, and direct enterprise sales.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the assigned region to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Maintain a healthy mix of

    hunting (new customer acquisition)

    and

    farming (account expansion & renewal)

    .
  • Create and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Identify and engage potential enterprise and mid-market customers for Microsoft solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, IT leaders, and procurement heads.
  • Collaborate closely with Microsoft account teams, distributors, and channel partners to develop joint business plans.
  • Deliver product presentations, solution demonstrations, and value-based proposals tailored to client needs.

Account Management & Retention

  • Manage existing customer accounts to drive upselling, cross-selling, and license renewals.
  • Provide strategic support to customers on cloud adoption, modernization, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen account relationships through proactive engagement and service excellence.

Reporting & Forecasting

  • Track regional performance metrics and provide accurate sales forecasts.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and ensure up-to-date pipeline and activity records.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree

    in Business, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years

    of proven sales experience in

    Microsoft Licensing, Cloud, or IT solution sales

    .
  • Strong knowledge of

    Microsoft 365, Azure, Modern Workplace

    solutions, and

    licensing programs

    (CSP, EA, MPSA, etc.).
  • Proven track record in both

    hunting and farming

    roles, managing enterprise or mid-market customers.
  • Experience working with

    Microsoft partner ecosystem

    (Distributors, Tier-1/Tier-2 partners, and CSPs).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft sales certifications (e.g.,

    Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals / Azure Solutions Expert

    ) preferred.
