Job Description

As the Regional Product Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing a localized product strategy that aligns with the Global Product Roadmap. Your responsibilities will include customizing product value propositions, enhancing market knowledge, and driving the implementation of strategic product initiatives. Your impact will be significant in ensuring the evolution of offerings to meet market demands, ultimately driving sustainable and profitable growth across the region. Key Responsibilities: - Implement global portfolio strategy into the region, influencing future designs and investments for regional offerings in alignment with Global Product Group strategy and market needs. - Enhance competitiveness and market knowledge with key regional/local customers and internal stakeholders. - Conduct product/solution competitiveness analysis and take actions based on findings. - Conduct competitor benchmarking, market intelligence, and price overview to drive competitiveness actions. - Identify regional product requirements such as changes in regulations, standards, and legislations. - Provide input to Global Product Managers on MRS and business case for R&D initiatives. - Provide feedback to Global Product Managers on existing and new product performance. - Lead the market introduction of new products in coordination with Hub M&S and Hub Application Engineering. - Identify co-creation/partnership opportunities. - Drive the implementation of the local Product Strategy and global product strategy in the HUB. - Support product launches in the Hub. - Secure the rolling out of the approved strategy and product portfolio in the Hub. - Drive and support ToT processes as a provider or receiver unit. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A master's degree in business, marketing, or engineering is a plus. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in technical departments (R&D, Electrical Engineering, Design), Project Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Business Development in the assigned sector(s), preferably associated with transformer businesses. - Strong technical skills combined with marketing experience. - Intercultural sensitivity, good oral and written communication skills. - Experience in change management, coaching, motivating, and developing diverse technical teams. - Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
