Job Description

Position Title: Regional Manager / Senior Regional Manager Location: Chennai/ Kolkata (Mandatory candidates must be based in mentioned location) Reports to: Zonal Head Working days: Monday to Friday (Alternate Saturday working) Purpose: Responsible for the Sales and Distribution function for the region/area/distributors assigned. Key Responsibilities: Drive AIF & PMS sales across the region/area from all national partners where the product is approved. Identify and activate Independent Financial Advisors across all locations in the region/area. Work closely with the sales team of the partners: Joint calls with partners may be required to close the sale. Train them on the products. Provide them with required literature. Resolve their queries and provide after-sales support. For national partners based out of the region/area, work closely with the alliance team from the corporate office to close the tie-up. Experience and Qualification: Minimum 10 years of sales experience in investment products, with at least 3 years in PMS or AIF sales. Stability in previous organization for a minimum of 2+ years is mandatory. Postgraduate degree preferred. Graduates from commerce background will also be considered. Understanding of accounts and income tax will be an added advantage. Good understanding of public equity markets is an essential prerequisite.
