Job Description

Oversee and enhance the legal and regulatory framework for wholesale banking

Qualification: LLB

Experience: 5 to 15 years

Handle legal matters pertaining to WSB across the segments of large, mid and small corporates.
Vetting of legal documents including loan and mortgage documents, security trustee arrangements, escrow arrangements, consortium/multiple banking arrangements etc
Legal/compliance SPOC in co-ordination with wholesale banking business team in order to protect the interests of the Bank.
Negotiations/discussions with clients on modifications in standard set of loan documents and finalizing the same.
Property visits to check the legal aspects of the security property by way of verification of title documents/land survey records and other documents.
Provide recommendations to the Credit Underwriting Team on the mortgage ability of the property.
This includes evaluating the suitability of the property as loan collateral and determining the appropriate mortgage structure to secure the proposed loan.
