Job Description

Role & responsibilities

HR Operations & Business Partnering

  • Act as the HR business partner for retail stores and front-end operations within the region.
  • Partner with Regional Business teams and Store Managers on manpower planning, workforce optimization, and people issues.
  • Provide on-ground HR support aligned with business and customer experience goals.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for front-end retail roles including sales, customer service, and store operations.
  • Ensure timely hiring, onboarding, and deployment of store staff to meet business requirements.
  • Manage attrition, staffing ratios, and seasonal workforce needs.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Handle employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies across all stores.
  • Manage audits, inspections, and statutory documentation at the regional level.

Performance Management & Capability Building

  • Drive performance management processes for front-end teams, including goal alignment and performance reviews.
  • Support training and capability-building initiatives for store staff and frontline leaders.
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with L&D teams to deliver targeted interventions.

Engagement & Culture

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve morale, retention, and productivity.
  • Support communication, rewards, and recognition programs for retail teams.
  • Promote organizational values and a customer-first culture at the store level.

Reporting & Regional HR Governance

  • Track and report HR metrics including attrition, hiring, absenteeism, and engagement scores.
  • Maintain regional HR dashboards and ensure timely data reporting to corporate HR.
  • Ensure consistent HR practices and governance across all retail locations in the region.
