The Regional HR Head will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the designated region of operations. This role involves strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
1. Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
2. Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for the region, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates for various positions. Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure timely and effective recruitment.
3. Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner. Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
4. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and support professional development. Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate goal-setting processes.
5. Training and Development: Identify training needs within the region and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
6. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on legal developments and industry best practices to mitigate risks and maintain a positive work environment.
7. HR Metrics and Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data to track key metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and workforce demographics. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to inform decision-making.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives. Act as a strategic partner to business leaders in driving organizational effectiveness and performance.
Postgraduate or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
