Regional Collection Manager- Mortgages

Role & responsibilities

• Drive collection efficiency and minimize roll forward of cases.
• Planning, evaluating, implementing and continuously improving all aspects of credit & collection functions and processes.
• Responsible for leading, managing, developing, and training a team of collectors; and for directing their efforts to attain maximum collections while complying with company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring professional relationships are established and maintained with clients and attorneys.
• Prepares periodic reports on collections activities, including summaries on delinquency ratios.
• Achieve collection targets on various parameters like resolution, flows and credit cost.
• Allocate work to the field executives and ensure that all the agencies in the location perform as per defined plan.
• Ensure payments, Audit receipts get deposited within the defined structured plan.
• Collect feedback from the agency on a daily basis.
• Ensure that the team adheres to the defined processes and policies while dealing with customers.
• Prepares documentation necessary to create the Credit or Debit Memo necessary to true up a customer account.
• Oversees and assists with the clean-up of RUs (unapplied receipts), short paid invoices and Charge Backs.
• Manage the team of Field Collection Executives and Collection Support Team.
• Monitor productivity of field collection executives on a daily basis.
• Conduct revised/refresher policy & process training of collections team at regular intervals.
• Direct interaction with selected clients in resolving receivables delinquencies.
• Performs collection functions as necessary to assist in handling the departments workload.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in SME/Housing Loans credit functions with Team Handling.

• Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
• Good sales and negotiation skills
