Job Description

Position Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts within a designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills to engage with healthcare professionals, surgeons, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the medical device industry and demonstrate the ability to achieve sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:

    Implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives within the assigned territory. Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers (RSM) to align initiatives and meet sales goals.
  • Customer Engagement:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons and KOLs, to promote product adoption and expand market presence.
  • Market Research and Analysis:

    Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities, evaluate customer needs, and gain insights into competitor activities.
  • Presentations and Demonstrations:

    Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on products and services, highlighting their value proposition and benefits.
  • Sales Reporting:

    Regularly generate and present reports on sales performance, financial data, and market trends to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Event Participation:

    Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and develop strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborative Efforts:

    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure unified efforts towards achieving company goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in sales, preferably within the medical devices.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
