Responsibilities

• Achieve yearly sales targets and manage payment collections
• Control travel and promotion budgets effectively
• Adhere to business policy guidelines
• Implement sales C business development strategy at the regional level
• Recruit and train the right territory sales managers C field officers
• Gather market intelligence of territories under supervision
• Maintain a structure regional profile-sale, trade partners, farmers, villages, competition, market size, etc.
• Maintain proper database of villages, farmers and dealers
• Identify, and develop personal contacts C maintain good relations with progressive farmers and trade partners
• Plan, participate in and monitor market development activitiesfarmer meetings, promotional events, testimonials from satisfied farmers- and submit review reports
• Effectively utilize sales promotion materials-coupons, posters, banners, etc.
• Liaison with Department of Agriculture officials incases of need.

Knowledge, Experience Capabilities

• 6-10 years of experience in agrochemicals industry
• Experienced in sales management, customer relationship management
• Team work and people management skills
• Knowledge of local language/markets/ products
• Ability to manage performance during ambiguity
• Willingness and ability to develop self, people and organization.
