Regional Business Development Manager - Logistics

We’re Hiring! – Logistics (Regional Business Development – Eastern India)

Qualification: MBA/PG in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee regional logistics and transport operations across Eastern India, ensuring timely and cost-efficient movement of materials and finished goods.
• Plan and manage route optimization, vehicle allocation, and dispatch scheduling for smooth operations.
• Coordinate closely with vendors, drivers, transporters, and internal teams to maintain uninterrupted logistics flow.
• Ensure maximum fleet utilization by arranging onward logistics for vehicles returning from various locations to the headquarters or other operational sites.
• Supervise and mentor the logistics and dispatch teams to achieve performance targets.
• Review and control transport cost parameters, trip sheets, fuel records, and billing documentation.
• Negotiate with transporters for competitive freight rates while maintaining service quality and compliance.
• Track and analyze logistics KPIs including on-time delivery, transit cost, and fleet efficiency, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Ensure adherence to safety, statutory compliance, and company transport policies.
• Collaborate with production, sales, accounts, and plant operations to ensure seamless end-to-end logistics execution.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• Excellent command of MS Excel, transport documentation, and ERP systems.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale, time-sensitive logistics operations across multiple regions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
