Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and role specifications
  
• Prepare and post job ads (job boards, social media, LinkedIn, local channels)
  
• Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, conduct firstlevel interviews
  
• Schedule and coordinate with internal stakeholders (technical, operations)
  
• Manage interview feedback, negotiate offers, do reference checks
  
• Maintain recruitment metrics (time to hire, source effectiveness)
  
• Develop and maintain a candidate database / ATS
  
• Employer branding: represent BuildAhome in job fairs, social media, outreach
  
• Onboarding coordination: ensure all paperwork, induction, and orientation
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree (preferably in HR, Business, or a related field)
  
• 15 years (or more) of recruiting experience, ideally in the construction / real estate / engineering / tech sector
  
• Familiarity with recruitment tools, job portals, LinkedIn, Applicant Tracking Systems
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple open positions
  
• Good judgment and decisionmaking in candidate evaluation
