Job Description

Role & responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AR, AP, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure timely closing of books in accordance with accounting standards. Implement and maintain internal controls. Project Accounting Track and report project-wise costing, revenue recognition, and margins. Monitor capital expenditures and ensure budgetary compliance. Work closely with project teams to forecast financials and track progress payments. Budgeting & Forecasting Prepare annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts. Monitor variances and recommend corrective actions. Provide financial analysis and feasibility studies for new projects and investments. Taxation & Compliance Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax etc.). Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities as needed. Oversee timely filing of tax returns and other statutory filings. Cash Flow & Treasury Monitor and manage daily cash flow, working capital, and banking operations. Optimize fund allocation and liaise with banks for project funding and loan management. Team Management Supervise and mentor junior accountants and finance staff. Develop and implement best practices in financial processes and reporting. Support training and development of the finance team. Key Requirements: Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification. Experience: Minimum 915 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the real estate or construction industry. Skills: Strong knowledge of real estate finance, project accounting, and ERP systems. Proficient in Tally and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Attributes: Experience with real estate . Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Proven leadership and team management skills. Preferred candidate profile
