Record to Report Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 900000 - Rs 2700000 (ie INR 9-27 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Record to Report (RTR) processes, including journal entries, fixed asset accounting, general ledger reconciliations, and period-end close.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of variances.
• Own period close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to timelines.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, explanations, and required documentation.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
• Lead regular review calls and governance meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure effective SLA and KPI management, driving process efficiency and quality.
• Handle escalations professionally and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage customer interactions, including on-site coordination and floor walks.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 2+ years in Record to Report (RTR).
• Minimum 2+ years of team handling / people management experience.
• Strong exposure to period-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders across functions such as HR, Audit, BRMs, and support teams.
• Experience in SLA/KPI governance, escalation management, and service delivery reviews.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify process gaps and drive solutions.
• Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders, including on-site interactions.
