Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reconciliation Analyst to support investment operations for a U.S.-based asset management client. The primary focus of this role is to maintain high-quality data within the Investment Book of Record (IBOR) through rigorous reconciliation, data validation, and exception management. The ideal candidate will have extensive investment operations experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform reconciliation of internal and external data, including investment positions, cash, and transactions.
  • Conduct data integrity analysis covering security master attributes, security identifiers, and other IBOR data points.
  • Process, modify, or delete transactions as needed to ensure accuracy and integrity of IBOR records.
  • Support special projects, internal/external audits, investment accounting tasks (e.g., unapplied wires, open payables/receivables), asset transfers, and other ad hoc operational requests.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams (Investment Operations, Investment Reporting, IT, Front Office) and external stakeholders (brokers, custodians, and vendors).

Required QualificationsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in investment operations or a related function.
  • Prior experience supporting a U.S.-based asset management firm is mandatory.

Technical SkillsMust-Have

  • Strong understanding of investments—particularly syndicated bank loans—trade lifecycle, and investment operations workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Allvue, SimCorp Dimension, or similar trade order management/investment accounting systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Highly Preferred

  • Working experience with SimCorp Dimension.
  • Familiarity with WSOWeb, ClearPar, or Allvue.
  • Proficiency in Power BI.
  • Experience in developing, managing, and analyzing KPI metrics.

Other Skills

  • Strong problem-solving capability and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
