Job Specification

Designation: Receptionist Cum Admin

Job Type: Full-time / On-site

Salary: 8,500 onwards (Based on Interview Performance)

Timings: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Days: Monday - Saturday

Language: English, Hindi, Bengali

Educational Background: Any graduate with relevant experience

Years of Experience: 0-1year

Key Skills: Fluent in English, MS Excel

Work Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

NOTE: The interview process will be conducted offline (face-to-face). No virtual interview will be entertained for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees at the front desk
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional and polite manner
  • Handle, maintain, and file important company documentation and records with confidentiality
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating office communications
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the reception area and maintain office discipline
  • Manage courier, mail, and deliveries (inward/outward documentation tracking)
  • Support HR and Administration in preparing and maintaining confidential employee or company files
  • Maintain office supplies and assist in basic administrative tasks
  • Ensure reception area is well-maintained, presentable, and welcoming
  • Maintain confidentiality in all office-related matters and sensitive documentation
  • Shall be able to understand the company services, its features and benefits
  • Identify potential customers and generate leads by understanding their needs and offering relevant services
  • Build and maintain a positive relationships with clients, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed about the company’s services to effectively communicate with clients
  • Shall be able to take decisions
  • Shall be able to provide customized solution to clients
  • Shall keep records of the clients and update information accordingly
  • Conduct follow-up calls with clients who have shown interest in our services
  • Shall be comfortable with targets and deadline
  • Shall be able to communicate with clients

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front office executive, or in a related administrative role
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English, Hindi, and Bengali
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and record-keeping
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities efficiently
  • High sense of confidentiality and integrity in handling documents

Other Requirements:

Candidate Location – Kolkata (preferable)

Experience in the relevant field – 1 year (preferable)
