React.js - Senior Associate

Job Description (3-5 years)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior React.js Developer to lead the development of high-quality web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and responsive front-end solutions using React.js. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, component-based architecture, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in ReactJS and front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• In-depth experience with React.js and its core principles: components, hooks, lifecycle methods, and state management.
• Proficient in Next.js and server-side rendering.
• Experience with GraphQL and tools like Apollo Client.
• Hands-on experience in building complex UIs and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
• Proficient in pulling live data from APIs and displaying it on live charts; experience with real-time data handling is a plus.
• Strong understanding of ECMAScript standards and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, and familiarity with CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and CSS-in-JS libraries (styled-components, Emotion).
• Experience with TypeScript in large-scale applications.
• Understanding of integrating with headless CMSs like WordPress, Drupal, and Magento.
• Experience with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
• Ability to optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Must be a team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership and mentoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop High-Quality Front-End Applications: Design and implement user interfaces using React.js, ensuring best practices and high performance.
• Architectural Decisions: Make informed decisions regarding front-end architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.
• Reusable Components: Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Integration: Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards.
• Testing: Implement unit tests and integration tests using frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and technical discussions.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive.
