Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Planning Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to support our construction and real estate development projects. The ideal candidate should have strong planning, analytical, and estimation skills, along with the ability to coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare and manage construction project schedules.
• Identify project milestones, critical paths, and deadlines.
• Update and revise schedules based on project progress.

2. Quantity Surveying & Estimation

• Prepare quantity take-offs based on drawings and BOQs.
• Estimate material, manpower, and cost requirements.
• Verify contractor bills and prepare cost-related documentation.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Architects, and Contractors.
• Provide planning and costing updates during meetings.
• Resolve discrepancies in quantities and site execution plans.

4. Monitoring & Progress Tracking

• Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress.
• Compare planned progress vs actual progress.
• Identify delays and propose corrective actions.

5. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Monitor project expenditure and control budget variations.
• Prepare cost tracking reports and forecasts.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and schedule updates.
• Maintain accurate BOQ, rate analysis, and project documentation.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in Planning, QS, or both in real estate or construction industry.
• Proficiency in MS Project / Primavera is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of quantity calculations and construction materials.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
