Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quant Researcher and Algo Trader, based in Ahmedabad.  We are looking for a Quantitative Trader (Algo Focus) to lead the design, deployment, and management of advanced algorithmic trading strategies in the Indian equity market and currency market. This is a high-impact, result-driven role with a clear mandate to generate alpha. You will oversee the entire strategy lifecycle—from research and backtesting to live execution, optimizing trading algorithms , and risk management. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of market microstructure, a passion for solving complex problems, analyzing market data to identify opportunities, and implementing data-driven strategies.

The Role & Responsibilities:

● 📊 Analyze financial data to identify trading opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Statistics and Mathematics
• Experience in Quantitative Research and Quantitative Investing
• Excellent Analytical Skills for problem-solving and data analysis
• Strong programming skills and familiarity with trading software and tools (preferred)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Computer Science
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment and adapt to changing market dynamics
