Job Description

As a Quality Supervisor, your role involves supervising and guiding inspectors, technicians, operators, and other staff regarding the Quality Management System. You will be responsible for attending customer complaints and submitting corrective and preventive actions within a committed timeline. Keeping records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation will be an essential part of your responsibilities. Facilitating proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing data based on QRQC, PDI fallout, In-process, and Incoming processes will be crucial. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure implementation of quality standards, including Incoming Inspections, In-process Inspections, PDI, Visual Inspections, and Packing standards. - Coordinate with suppliers for quality problems and improvements by demanding corrective actions. - Implement improvement activities such as 5S, KAIZEN, MSA, and SPC. - Submit Daily/Monthly Quality MIS reports to the plant head. - Ensure SOP compliance, instrument/gauge calibrations, and quality instruction sheet adherence. - Conduct In-house calibrations, internal system audits, process audits, and supplier audits. - Perform BOP part inspections as per the sampling plan. - Analyze defect due to supplier & take countermeasures. - Maintain supplier-related documentation. - Responsible for layout inspection of the child part of the NPD part. - Responsible for One page activity & Quality Flash note during customer complaints. - Overall responsibility for the standard room and calibration of gauges & instruments. Qualifications Required: - Strong communication skills - Knowledge of measuring tools like Vernier caliper, micrometer, and measuring tape - Proficiency in reporting and documentation - Problem-solving abilities - Reading comprehension and decision-making skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality Additionally, you will be responsible for process improvement through work instruction, making PDI reports, maintaining initial supply data, attending customer complaints, and updating customer complaint effectiveness sheets. This is a permanent position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. Please note that the Job Type is Permanent, and the preferred education level is a Diploma.
