Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Assurance Planner to join our team, focusing on ensuring quality throughout the value chain in R&D projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance quality standards in our product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance in R&D Projects: Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the value chain within the specific area of focus by actively participating in R&D projects from a quality management perspective.

2. Quality Reporting: Prepare quality reports and establish a robust reporting framework while identifying and implementing measures for quality improvement in coordination with management.

3. Quality Functions in Projects: Coordinate or take ownership of quality-related responsibilities in projects until handover to serial production.

4. Customer Requirements: Ensure customer requirements are addressed in projects. Document and monitor customer requirements, communicate deviations within the project and, if necessary, escalate to management. Execute reviews, assessments, and audits.

5. Quality Planning: Develop and maintain quality assurance plans in product development, conduct milestone reviews, and oversee verification and validation processes.

6. Risk Management: Conduct risk analyses (e.g., FMEA) to ensure compliance with functional safety requirements and escalate quality risks to management while proposing solutions collaboratively with project leaders.

7. Quality Issues Resolution: Address specific quality issues and handle customer complaints during pre-series production, including product releases and initial samples.

8. Quality Development Reporting: Report on quality development within projects, including preparation of presentations in coordination with project leaders.

Competency Profile:

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in quality management within R&D environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools (e.g., FMEA, audits).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in quality reporting and performance analysis.
  • Experience in customer-focused quality functions is a plus.
