Job Summary:

The Quality Head will be responsible for ensuring all food products meet the highest quality and safety standards, with a strong focus on packaging development and compliance with international regulations. The role requires expertise in designing and developing food packaging boxes, labels, and ensuring adherence to country-specific food safety, labeling, and packaging policies. The candidate should lead quality systems, coordinate with design, production, and regulatory teams, and drive continuous improvement in packaging innovation, product safety, and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end quality control processes in food production and packaging.

Develop and review food packaging boxes and labels ensuring durability, safety, and compliance.

Ensure packaging design aligns with branding, shelf-life requirements, and market regulations.

Implement and monitor food safety standards as per FSSAI, FDA, EU, and other country-specific policies.

Collaborate with design teams to create packaging and labels that meet regulatory and customer requirements.

Lead audits, inspections, and certification processes for food quality and packaging compliance.

Manage vendor and supplier quality for packaging materials.

Drive continuous improvement in packaging innovation, cost efficiency, and sustainability.

Train and guide teams on packaging quality standards, labelling laws, and compliance updates.

Ensure documentation and records are maintained for audits and export compliance.
