Job Description

Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products as per quality standards and work instructions. Conduct dimensional and visual inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Surface Plate, Dial Gauge, Welding Gauge, etc. Check welding quality, fabrication quality, machining accuracy, and assembly tolerance based on drawings. Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications. Prepare and maintain inspection reports, rejection reports, NCR records, calibration logs etc. Identify defects and communicate with production team for corrective actions. Ensure process quality control and final inspection before dispatch. Maintain 5S, safety standards, and quality system compliance (ISO / IATF). Support in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities (CAPA).
