Quality Inspection Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Quality Management System:

Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QMS, ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 9001 or IATF.

· Quality Control:

Supervise all quality control activities, including raw material testing, in-process inspections, and final product verification.

· Process Improvement:

Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, analyzing defects, and leading Kaizen teams to enhance processes and reduce waste.

· Problem-Solving:

Lead the investigation of non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

· Customer Focus:

Manage customer complaints, perform root cause analysis (e.g., 8D reports), and ensure customer quality requirements are consistently met.

· Audits:

Lead and manage internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

· Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop the quality team, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental goals are met.

· Reporting:

Prepare and present quality reports, analysis of quality indicators (KPIs), and scrap data to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills

· Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or a related technical field is typically required.

· Experience:

Extensive hands-on quality management experience in the sheet metal or automotive component sector is crucial.

· Quality Tools & Systems:

Strong knowledge of 7 QC tools, 5 Core Quality Tools, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC is essential.

· Standards & Audits:

Proven experience with QMS standards like ISO 9001 and/or IATF/TS, including managing customer and internal audits.

· Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of sheet metal parts production and associated quality control processes.

· Leadership & Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
