Role Overview

The Quality Head will be responsible for overall quality control operations in a machining-driven manufacturing environment.The role focuses on shop-floor quality control, inspections, customer handling, audits, and dimensional control, with limited involvement in documentation-heavy quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage quality control activities across machining operations
• Ensure effective inspection of parts produced on VMC, Turning Centers
• Oversee CMM operations, measurement systems, and inspection methods
• Ensure correct interpretation and application of GD&T
• Manage standard room operations and calibration control
• Handle customer complaints, audits, and quality reviews
• Drive reduction of rejections, rework, and customer returns
• Coordinate with production for process improvements and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with customer and industry quality requirements
• Support new part development and machining validation activities

Skill Requirements

• Strong machining background (VMC, Turning Centers)
• Hands-on experience with CMM and dimensional inspection
• Strong knowledge of GD&T
• Experience handling internal, customer, and external audits
• Knowledge of standard room management and calibration
• Strong customer interaction and communication skills
• Good understanding of quality control tools and root cause analysis
• Exposure to CAM and machining processes (supportive knowledge)

Experience & Qualification

• 8–12 years of experience in Quality Control
• Background in machining-based manufacturing
• Experience in casting or tool manufacturing industries
• BE / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
