JOB DESCRIPTION

 Incoming Material Inspection

 In-Process Inspection – Fabrication & Assembly

 Final Inspection & Testing

 Documentation & Reporting

 Supplier Quality & Improvement

 Continuous Improvement & Compliance

Key skills-

 Basic knowledge of ahu/aw/hrw/hvac industry.

 Ensure 100% inspection of raw materials, bought-out items, and vendor-supplied parts as per approved quality standards and specifications.

 Verify supplier documentation (COA, Test Certificates, MSDS, etc.) before acceptance.

 Maintain rejection/acceptance records and communicate NC (Non-conformance) to suppliers for corrective action.

 Develop & update incoming material inspection checklists and acceptance criteria.

 Conduct stage-wise inspections (cutting, bending, welding, painting, and assembly) as per process checklists.

 Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, dimensional accuracy, welding standards, surface finishing, and fitment.

 Identify, record, and report process deviations, and ensure timely corrective & preventive actions.

 Verify torquing, sealing, and alignment of AHU assemblies before moving to the next stage.

 Carry out final inspection of AHUs before dispatch (visual inspection, leakage test, performance checks, etc.).

 Verify compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.

 Ensure calibration of testing instruments and proper documentation of inspection results.

 Maintain inspection records, rejection logs, calibration certificates, and NCR reports.

 Prepare and circulate daily/weekly/monthly inspection reports to management.

 Assist in internal & external quality audits (ISO, customer audits).

 Coordinate with suppliers for quality improvement and resolve recurring material quality issues.

 Develop and monitor Supplier Quality Rating (SQR).

 Support vendor development with feedback on inspection performance.

 Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and quality improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S, Lean).

 Train operators and assembly teams on quality checkpoints and awareness.
