Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Control & Inspection
• Inspect and verify quality of incoming raw materials, in-process production, and outgoing finished products.
• Maintain inspection records, quality documentation, and compliance reports.
• Identify defects, deviations, and ensure corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• CAD Design & Review
• Interpret and review 2D/3D CAD drawings for product specifications and tolerances.
• Collaborate with design & production teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to standards.
• Support in making minor design adjustments or drawing updates when required.
• Factory Supervision & Coordination
• Oversee production processes to ensure quality parameters are met.
• Guide operators and supervisors on quality standards and work instructions.
• Support training programs for shopfloor staff on quality awareness.
• Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and inspection methods.
• Monitor KPIs such as rejection rate, rework, and customer complaints.
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or related).
• Hands-on experience in CAD (2D & 3D software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in quality inspection and factory supervision.
• Knowledge of ISO/TS quality standards, GD&T, and measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and leadership abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

• Bommasandra, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
