Responsibilities

• Quality Control and Assurance: As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure that products and services meet the necessary standards and specifications. You will need to conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify any defects or deviations from quality requirements, and work to rectify any issues that arise.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: In the aerospace industry, strict adherence to safety and quality regulations is essential. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date on industry standards and regulations, and ensuring that all processes and products are in compliance with these requirements.
• Process Improvement and Optimization: Continuous improvement is a key aspect of quality engineering. You will be expected to identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement, and implement strategies to improve overall quality and performance.
• Root Cause Analysis: When quality issues arise, you will need to conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify the underlying reasons for defects or non-conformities. This may involve working closely with other teams such as design and manufacturing to address issues and prevent reoccurrence.
• Documentation and Reporting: Your role will also involve maintaining detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and compliance documentation. Additionally, you may be responsible for preparing reports and presenting findings to management and other stakeholders.
• Supplier Quality Management: Collaborating with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components is also a critical responsibility. You will need to establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and work together to address any quality issues that arise.
