Job Title:

Quality Engineer – FullStack QA Tester

Location:

Role Summary

We are looking for a

FullStack QA Tester

with strong experience in functional testing of web applications and validation of middleware integrations. The candidate should be proficient in verifying composite invocations and payloads using the

Oracle SOA EM Console

, performing backend validation with SQL queries, and conducting API testing with tools such as

SOAP UI

. This role requires close collaboration with development and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and timely issue resolution.

Responsibilities

Perform functional testing of web applications to validate business workflows and integrations.
Validate composite invocations and payloads using the Oracle SOA EM Console.
Execute basic SQL queries to verify backend database records and data consistency.
Conduct API testing using tools like SOAP UI (REST/SOAP services validation).
Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely closure.
Collaborate with developers, middleware teams, and business analysts for root cause analysis and issue resolution.
Provide QA sign-off ensuring compliance with testing standards and quality benchmarks.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, with exposure to automation testing tools being a plus.

Mandatory Skills

Functional Testing of web applications.
Oracle SOA EM Console for validation of composite services and payloads.
SQL – ability to write and run basic queries.
API Testing – using SOAP UI or similar tools.
Defect Management – experience with JIRA.
Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-team coordination.

Good-to-Have (Optional) Skills

Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, REST Assured, Postman).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
Exposure to middleware and Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
