Job Description

Job Title:

Job Summary:

Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Root Cause Analysis:
Identify and analyze defects through 8D methodology and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain PPAP, APQP, and related documentation for both existing and new product development (NPD) parts.
Training & Guidance:
Provide training to operators on quality instruments, processes, rejection handling, and standard practices.
PPM Management:
Achieve and maintain Parts Per Million (PPM) targets as defined by the organization.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive Kaizen initiatives and implement 5S practices to enhance workplace efficiency and quality standards.
Inspection & Audits:
Conduct incoming raw material (RM), in-process, and final product inspections; maintain relevant quality records and documentation.
Process Layouts:
Develop and implement operation layouts as per process requirements.
Supplier Quality Management:
Prepare, plan, and execute supplier audits; ensure compliance and support corrective measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience in quality assurance within manufacturing/automotive/engineering industries.
Strong knowledge of
8D, CAPA, PPAP, APQP, PPM, Kaizen, 5S, and quality tools
.
Proficiency in inspection techniques, process documentation, and supplier quality management.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to train and guide team members effectively.
