JOB DETAIL

Responsible for understanding Customer requirements and ensuring compliance to them in manufacturing Process & Finished Product.

Interfacing with Customer on all matters related to Quality.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage with Engineering and Cross Functional teams from the initial stages of Project discussions in order to understand customer requirements.
• Participate in NPI build process and FAI Qualifications for Medical and Industrial projects.
• Co ordinate Customer evaluations & audits.
• Monitor and control internal Process & Test Yields at various stages.
• Attend to Customer Feedback/Complaint in a timely and effective manner.
• Initiate , Drive and Close Corrective actions as appropriate.
• Interact with Customers in all matters related to Quality.
• Drive Zero Defect Culture and six sigma culture inside the plant to ensure DPPM levels as defined are consistently achieved.
• Make customer site visits as and when needed.
• Handle Return Material Authorization (RMA ) process for the assigned Projects.
• Conduct Internal Trainings as and when needed.

JOB QUALIFICATION

• Basic Engineering Degree in any Discipline – Electronics Preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in EMS or similar industry with products manufactured for Medical/Industrial.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001/ISO 13485 and Quality requirements & Standards as applicable to medical or industrial electronics and high level assembly Industry.
• Working experience on Quality/Analysis tools, RCCA process like 8D Methodology etc.
• Good level of in depth knowledge on EMS processes – SMT, TH, AOI, ICT, FCT and electro mechanical integration etc.
• Basic Knowledge in QMS Standards and ESD.
• Exposure and working knowledge in improvement tools like Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma
• Knowledge in IPC Certification in Electronics Workmanship Standards. IPCA 610, JSTD 001.
