Warehouse Management: Plan and implement efficient warehousing systems, including storage facility creation, space optimization, and inventory accuracy. Lead warehouse software implementation for digital inventory management and tracking. Material Handling Systems: Plan and select suitable material handling equipment (MHE) based on operational needs. Manage the entire Capex cycle for MHE budgeting, procurement, erection, and commissioning. Process Improvements: Identify and execute improvement projects focused on productivity, material flow efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost reduction. Support lean manufacturing practices in layout and material handling operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 48 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering industries. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD for layout designing. Exposure to Industrial Engineering principles and practices. Understanding of warehousing and material handling systems in a manufacturing setup. Role & responsibilities Executive and support end-to-end process engineering activities for new and ongoing manufacturing projects. Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct process capability studies , time and motion studies, and root cause analyses to resolve production issues. Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with R&D, quality, maintenance, and production teams to support product launches and process changes. Prepare and maintain process documentation , including SOPs, PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions. Evaluate and implement new equipment, tools, and automation solutions. Ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards and industry regulations. Manage project timelines , budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely execution. Train production staff and ensure knowledge transfer of new processes. Preferred candidate profile experience in process engineering , preferably in a manufacturing environment Skills required: Proficiency in using engineering software Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools is a plus.
