Job Title: Lead Quality Engineer – Python & Selenium

Role Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned and proactive Lead Quality Engineer with 6–9 years of experience in test automation, particularly using Python and Selenium. The ideal candidate will lead QA initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive quality across the software development lifecycle. This role requires a strong technical foundation, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of robust test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium WebDriver.
• Define and drive quality strategies, test plans, and automation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, conducting code reviews and training sessions.
• Own the defect management process and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth execution.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and continuously improve testing processes.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging tools in test automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6–9 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Expertise in Python programming and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with test frameworks like PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage QA efforts in agile environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Experience in testing microservices and distributed systems.
