Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and powder coating. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, implementing quality control processes, and maintaining compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee quality inspection of sheet metal components, fabricated assemblies, and powder-coated parts.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, inspection plans, and checklists.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.
• Monitor powder coating process parameters, surface preparation, and coating thickness.
• Perform dimensional checks using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
• Identify non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and calibration records.
• Ensure adherence to ISO / quality management system requirements.
• Communicate with clients/suppliers regarding quality issues and improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in 

  quality assurance/quality control

   within 

  sheet metal fabrication and powder coating

   industries.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes like laser cutting, bending, welding, and finishing.
• Knowledge of powder coating processes, surface treatment, and quality parameters.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality systems.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
