Job Overview

machine design

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems, components, and machinery.
Create and modify 3D models, detailed drawings, and assembly layouts using
SolidWorks / SolidEdge / AutoCAD
.
Conduct feasibility studies, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and R&D) to ensure design manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Perform calculations and simulations to validate designs and ensure compliance with standards.
Prepare documentation including technical reports, and design specifications.
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of machines.
Continuously improve designs to enhance performance, durability, and efficiency.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in
machine design
.
Proficiency in
SolidWorks, SolidEdge, and AutoCAD
.
Strong knowledge of mechanical components, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of hydraulics or automation systems.
