Job Description

Role Highlights:

Focus on same-day surgery & short-stay procedure coding & quality assurance
Audit/review of surgical case coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) for accuracy, compliance & quality metrics
Provide feedback/coaching to coding teams; monitor quality performance & error trends
Collaborate with clinical, billing & operations teams to resolve coding issues and support revenue cycle integrity

What we’re looking for:

Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience (preferably surgery / SDS / outpatient procedures)
CPC certification mandatory.
Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, surgical modifiers, DRG/IP vs same-day distinctions.
Experience in QA/QC or audit role in medical coding environment.
Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset & ability to drive improvements.
