Quality Control Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Perform

  quality audits

  of coded charts (IP, OP, SDS, ER, Anesthesia, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with

  CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS

  coding guidelines.
• Identify and document

  coding, documentation, or data entry errors

  .
• Provide

  constructive feedback and retraining support

  to coders.
• Track

  quality scores, error trends, and productivity metrics

  .
• Collaborate with coding leads to implement

  corrective action plans

  .
• Maintain

  audit reports and quality dashboards

  for management.
• Ensure adherence to

  HIPAA and client confidentiality standards

  .
• Stay updated with

  latest payer guidelines and coding updates

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in

  Life Sciences, Nursing, or related field

  .
• Certification preferred:

  CPC / CCS / COC / CIC

  .

• 25 years of experience

  in medical coding and quality audit.
• Sound knowledge of

  ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes

  .
• Excellent analytical, feedback, and communication skills.
