Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer

We’re Hiring: Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer

Balaji Piping Products Limited is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our Quality team and ensure adherence to international standards in product and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures across manufacturing operations.
• Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Ensure strict compliance with API 5CT (Casing & Tubing) and API 6A (Wellhead & Christmas Tree Equipment) requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test certificates, and QA/QC documentation.
• Support internal and external audits, addressing NCRs and ensuring timely closure.
• Coordinate with production, design, and QHSE teams to maintain product and process quality.
• Train shop-floor personnel on quality standards, inspection techniques, and documentation.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for continual improvement.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Production Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience as QA/QC Engineer in a manufacturing or engineering setup.
• Strong working knowledge of API 5CT & API 6A standards (mandatory).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 systems.
• Proficiency in NDT methods, measurement tools, and inspection techniques is desirable.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
