Job Title

Quality Assurance_IT_SSCAs a Quality Assurance Officer in the IT Shared Service Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and services. You will be involved in all stages of the software development process, from initial specification to final release. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and provide a seamless experience for our users.

Principal Accountabilities

Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.Identify and remedy defects within the production process.Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.Conduct manual testing of software products to identify areas of improvement.Perform API testing to ensure the software's functionality and performance.Utilize SQL and NoSQL databases to test and manage data.Use test management tools to track and report testing activities.Collaborate with the IT team to ensure effective implementation of the software and rectify any issues.Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations.Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.Adhere to all information security policies and procedures, ensuring that all software is secure and safe for use.Demonstrate a global mindset and entrepreneurship in problem-solving and decision-making processes.Exhibit business and commercial acumen in understanding the impact of testing in a business context.The Quality Assurance Officer should also possess critical thinking skills, be able to manage products and services, and have a good understanding of IT applications. They should also be committed to people excellence, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
