About the Role

Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Implement BDD tests using Cucumber for functional and regression testing.
• Create, execute, and maintain automation test scripts.
• Identify, analyze, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
• Enhance existing automation suites for scalability and reusability.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in

  Java

• Hands-on expertise with

  Selenium WebDriver

• Practical experience with

  BDD Cucumber

  frameworks.
• Good knowledge of automation concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and test management tools.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

• Exposure to API automation tools like RestAssured or Postman.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
