Job Description:

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques, test case creation, test execution, and defect reporting.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman
Proficiency in at least one automation tool like Selenium or Playwright
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar for test automation.
Knowledge of Version control systems (Git).

Good to have skills:

Performance Testing tools like JMeter or K6 or Load Runner
Appium for mobile test automation

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute manual test cases to ensure the functionality, usability, and stability of applications.
Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for regression testing using industry-standard tools.
Embrace Shift Left Testing by working closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to integrate testing early in the development process and ensure effective test coverage.
Perform root cause analysis on defects and help track and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Document and report test results and defects to the development team, and work to ensure issues are addressed.
Continuously improve testing processes and tools, with a focus on maximizing test efficiency and coverage.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test data, environments, and testing frameworks.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, to ensure the correct behavior of RESTful APIs.
